My Xbox 360

I guess it had fairly good innings. *sniff*

I remember when I was a lad, consoles didn't just BREAK for no reason other than shoddy workmanship. Since Sony made the PS2 so faulty that half it's sales are just people buying replacements, Microsoft seem to have followed down the same root.

Just imagine how many wii's would have been sold by now if it wasn't such a STURDY console. With loads more great games than the X-Box 360.

My SNES broke. And Microsoft repair RROD 360's free of charge, so I really doubt the high sales are down to people replacing faulty units.

I've had a Wii for a year and I've bought one game and two virtual console games. I've got over twenty 360 games and have bought about fifteen Xbox Live arcade games. Pwned.

My SNES still works! My PS2 still works! It's 6 years old and still works fine, not one problem.

I do find it a little funny that so many people are amazed a computer system loaded with Microsoft software breaks so often. But I do have sympathy, it really shouldn't happen in this day and age. There's simply no excuse for it.

You're right, it IS rubbish. Apartantly, the new 360's have different components, and it's all ironed out. I'll believe it when I see it.

At least Microsoft are helping people out. They've extended ALL warranties to three years and when I rang up to get mine sorted, they were excellent and really efficiant. I'm only surprised because I'm used to customer service lines being SHIT.
